My Testimony
I became a Christian at a young age, but my Bible journaling testimony is different than my choosing to follow Christ testimony. When my son turned two years old, we decided we would try to have another baby. I have a condition called PCOS which has created problems with my fertility. We struggled for years trying to conceive another child. We sought expensive fertility treatments and put all our efforts into trying to conceive. My heart so desired to have a sibling for my son. During my struggle to conceive, I started drawing closer and closer to God. He was working in my life through this hardship. Finally, after four long years, we were pregnant! I carried the baby for 16 weeks before the baby’s heart stopped beating. After testing the baby’s tissue, it was found I had suffered a partial molar pregnancy which can result in tumor growth and cancer. I had to have a blood work test every month for months following the miscarriage to ensure I didn’t have cancer. Every time I pulled into the office for my blood work test, the same office where I found out my baby had passed away, it stood as a constant reminder of the loss I had suffered. I was hurting so badly, and I was having such a difficult time finding God’s goodness in the midst of my pain. That’s when God gave me Bible journaling. My mom bought me a journaling Bible for Christmas and I discovered a whole new way to study and connect with God. God used this to pull me out of my sorrows, and that is why it is so important to me. I want to share this with others, and by God’s goodness he has allowed me to do just that. I am so thankful for all God has blessed me with, and I have found through my struggles that God truly does work all things together for my good and the good of others who love and trust him.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
