God Can Work All Things Together for Good

My favorite verse is Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. I've talked about this verse many times while teaching my Bible journaling classes, and we've journaled it before in class. This lesson focuses on some stories from scripture that backs this up and a verse that relates to it. The first scripture used is when Paul and Barnabas had a disagreement and parted ways. God used their disagreement for good because now there were two teams of missionaries instead of just one. The second scripture looked at deals with Joseph and how his brothers treated him so poorly, but God used the situation and made it good by allowing Joseph to feed the world from Egypt. The last verse is just a reminder of how we can't even imagine the good God has in store for us. He can make anything beautiful in its time. (I watched a video to get me started on the eye painting. My eyes are very different from the video I watched, but it helped me get going. You may want to watch a youtube video as well about how to paint an eye.)

I looked at the maps below for the Acts entry and tried to sketch it out according to accuracy. Mine isn't perfect, so here's a link to an online site with reference maps.
