God's Opinion is What Matters

It's so easy to allow what other's think of us to rule our lives. We worry when we fail that others will talk about us. We worry that people don't like us. We get so caught up in wanting to be accepted, and we forget that we aren't really supposed to fit into this world. It's not really our home. Worldly success and acceptance is fleeting, but acceptance by God is forever. He loves us regardless of what we achieve or don't achieve in this world. He loved us enough to send his son to die for us. We are highly valuable to God, so we should place that opinion in the highest of positions in our lives. This post contains two examples of people from scripture who had to face the opinions of others and how they dealt with it and also how God helped them in different ways.
