In the Shadow of his Wings

Psalm 57 was composed by David while he was hiding in a cave from King Saul who was in pursuit of David at the time. Saul was seeking to take David's life, but David was trusting in God for his safety and protection. When the things in our life seem to be going from bad to worse, or when it seems everyone is against us; God is still there. If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, He is still in your corner protecting you against life's storms. No matter how bad it seems, you still have a friend in Jesus; trust in him for your protection and deliverance. He will always work everything together for your good (Romans 8:28)
"Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: For my soul trusteth in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast." Psalm 57:1
